A pilot with more than three decades of experience in the aviation industry, Tilak S. Ramaprakash has earned multiple professional certifications, licenses, and FAA ratings. Tilak S. Ramaprakash earned the titles of Accredited Auditor from the International Registry of Certified Auditors, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor from the British Standards Institute, and both IS-BAH and IS-BAO Auditor in Operations Management and Maintenance from the International Business Aviation Council. He also earned various FAA licenses including Flight Engineer, Aircraft Dispatcher, Airline Transport Pilot, and Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, and Certified Flight Instructor.

Tilak Ramaprakash holds a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Technology and a Master's degree in Aviation and Aerospace Management from Purdue University.

Mr. Ramaprakash serves as a contract pilot at AvJet Solutions, Inc., where he also consults as an SMS Auditor. In addition to this position, he worked as a Boeing 777 captain at Jet Airways from 2016 to 2017 and as a 747-400 captain at Western Global Airlines from 2015 to 2016.
